Divorce is often seen as a contentious and emotionally draining process — but it doesn’t have to be that way. At Introspective Family Therapy’s Family Restructuring Center, we offer an integrative approach to help families navigate divorce or separation with compassion, collaboration, and healing.
Our goal is to reduce conflict, prioritize the well-being of your children, and empower your family to transition to this new reality with strength, grace, and the support you need.
A New Way to Approach Divorce
What is conscious co-mediation and divorce coaching?
Divorce can be a turning point rather than a breaking point.
Developed in partnership with Patrick Kalscheur, a divorce mediator and family law attorney, and Natalie Stanish, LMFT, a divorce coach and child specialist, we've built upon our family systems collaborative approach to provide the entire family with support through the separation and divorce process. We offer divorce coaching, mediation, and work with Introspective therapists to create a full spectrum of services. Our innovative approach leads to better communication, healthier co-parenting strategies, and far less conflict, helping you move forward with clarity and stability.
Our view on family systems
We see families as deeply interconnected systems, where the well-being of each individual impacts the greater whole. Unlike traditional therapy and divorce support services which often focus solely on individual needs, our approach integrates family-wide collaboration to build cohesion and lasting change for every person involved. We acknowledge each individual person and their needs while simultaneously holding and supporting the entire family system.
Why our approach makes a transformative difference
One out of every two families will experience divorce — and children of divorce are far more likely to develop physical and emotional health issues, including depression and anxiety.
With Introspective’s Family Restructuring Center, your family can:
Avoid relying on litigation and the court system to resolve disputes. While this method is sometimes necessary, it is both emotionally and financially draining for families. It also positions both spouses as adversaries, which can have a negative impact on children and long-term relationships.
Prioritize the well-being of your children. Through collaboration with our team, you’ll develop effective co-parenting strategies tailored to your children’s developmental needs.
Feel supported and empowered. No matter what the circumstances are, divorce is a significant transition that comes with an array of emotions. Through our process, you’ll receive personalized support that honors your journey.
Reduce the financial burden of prolonged court battles. Choosing an amicable divorce process like co-mediation is typically less expensive than litigation. This approach is also transparent, giving all parties a voice.
